Our Story

Where It All Began

KASIHA started the way most good things do — with yarn, a hook, and far too many quiet evenings. What began as a way to slow down during long Finnish winters slowly grew into something bigger: a small, home-based studio dedicated to crochet made the old-fashioned way, one stitch at a time.

A Craft Passed Down

Crochet has always been a craft of patience and care, often passed from one generation to the next around kitchen tables and by the fireplace. We wanted to keep that tradition alive — not as a museum piece, but as something you can actually use, wear, hug, and gift.

Handmade, Not Mass-Produced

Every KASIHA piece — from amigurumi animals to cozy granny-square cardigans and custom portrait dolls — is shaped entirely by hand. No factories, no molds, and no two pieces exactly alike. What you receive is the result of real hours, real hands, and real attention to detail.

Quality You Can Feel

We choose our yarns as carefully as our patterns: soft, durable cotton and acrylic blends that are gentle on skin and built to last through years of cuddles and washes. Good materials matter just as much as good craftsmanship.

Made Just for You

Some of our favorite work happens when a customer asks for something personal — a doll that looks just like their child, a sweater sized for their dog, a keepsake in someone's favorite forgotten color. Custom orders let us turn your story into something you can actually hold.

Looking Ahead

KASIHA is still small, and we like it that way — it means every order gets real attention, not an assembly line. As we grow, our promise stays the same: thoughtful, handmade pieces, made with care, one customer at a time.
